Lately, I’ve come to the realization that I basically live off of snacks. Most days, I’m lucky if I get a full meal in before dinner! Don’t get me wrong, I’d LOVE to have a gourmet meal with a large medley of grilled vegetables and accurately measured portions, but thanks to father time, two babies under two, and the amount of dishes I already have to wash – that usually doesn’t happen.
Luckily, just about any doctor, nutritionist, and trainer will tell you that ‘snacks’ (a.k.a. small meals) are a good thing! So for anyone like me, who’s trying to lose weight and conquer their healthy eating goal for the new year, here are some of my recent favorite healthy snacks that almost make forget all of the heavy carbs and processed sugars that I let behind.
