Recently, Leigha and I have been on the hunt for the perfect drug store foundation. Our desperate search has my everyday makeup bag filled to the brim with products because, let’s be honest, you can’t ever just go to Ulta or Target and just buy a foundation. With spring right around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to clean out my everyday beauty go-to’s and share my current favorites.
Benefit The Pore-fessional Face Primer
I recently repurchased this old favorite. I’ve always loved this primer and only strayed away from it to test out new products. I love spraying a little bit of rose water, then I apply this to my t-zone and my makeup always goes on flawlessly.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in #130 for Normal to Dry Skin
I literally took out 7 recently purchased foundations (including a Make-Up Forever one) because this one beat all of them. I love to apply this with a damp beauty sponge. It gives you a buildable coverage which makes adding a little to cover up a blemish SO easy.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Light Neutral
If you haven’t tried shape tape, what are you waiting for?! If you love NARS’ creamy concealer then you’ll be obsessed with this one!
NYX HD Finishing Powder in Banana
I love a good, lightweight pressed powder that sets your makeup but looks natural. This is everything I love PLUS it photographs well — win, win. It comes in a few different colors, too. So if you don’t love the yellowish tint, check out the other shades!
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Give Me Sun
The best bronzer that I’ve been using since I was 20. I feel like most bronzers don’t show up on my skin tone which is why I ALWAYS come back to this one — I highly recommend!
E.L.F. blush in Mellow Mauve
I used to be really into highlighting but recently, I’ve been ditching the over-the-top glaze and rekindled my love for blush! This one is only $3 and is perfect for spring!
Christina Lashes in #WSP Black
One of the best Amazon beauty finds! If you like a thin, flexible band, you’ll love these. They’re slightly more dramatic than the Ardell wispies but still suitable for a no-makeup makeup look. For me, they’re the perfect volume and length, and totally make me want to get eyelash extensions.
Anastasia Dip Brow Pommade in Chocolate
I’ve used this since the week it came out in 2013 and nothing compares. I barely have brows so I need all the help I can get.
NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée
My perfect everyday pink-ish nude. These guys are always buy one get one half off at Ulta!
As an avid coffee and wine drinker, I’ve used Crest Whitestrips for YEARS. So, I was super excited when Smile Brilliant reached out to me about their cruelty-free, vegan, custom teeth whitening kit. I can’t tell you how much I’ve loved using my trays, not to mention how much I love my results! I’m so close to finishing up my last bit of product so, stay tuned for a full review + giveaway.
