“This is about empowering women, empowering young girls, and making everybody feel like the best version of themselves, and having fun at the same time,” Victoria Beckham on her Target collaboration
Besides being every mom’s favorite place to spend their time and money, Target is famous for their fashion designer collaborations. In the past, Target has paired with designers like Lilly Pulitzer, Phillip Lim, and beginning on April 9, Victoria Beckham.
Typically, Beckham’s signature collection isn’t exactly considered to be ‘pocket friendly.’ But, her Target line will display a lower priced collection including over 700 pieces ranging from $6-$70. Her limited-edition Target line will also be available on her website for international customers. Even sweeter than the affordable pricing is the fact that Beckham is trying her designer hand at kid’s clothes for the very first time! I’m so excited to see her trendy and bold mommy and me sets! Beckham has said that much of inspiration for her Target collection came from her own relationship with her 5-year-old daughter, Harper.
“I can reach so many more women through working with Target. It’s not just because of the price point but because of how many stores that they have, located all around America. These are women that I haven’t been able to reach out to in the past, and I always say that I want to empower women and make women look like the best versions of themselves. That shouldn’t be only people who can afford to spend a certain amount of money,” Victoria told Business of Fashion.
Beckham’s collection will include a wide range of sizing – making it the first time that Target will offer extended sizes for a designer collaboration in stores and online.
Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the sneak peak of Victoria Beckham’s line on Target’s website:
Be ready ladies and gentlemen – come April 9th because once Target sells out of each piece in the collection, it will never be restocked.
